OFFICINA BADONI – LECCO

Giuseppe Badoni, metallurgical entrepreneur, built the Officina Badoni in Lecco between 1842 and 1844. The large ogival windows and the Gothic architecture gave the workshop the appearance of a cathedral of work.
Abandoned in the 20th century, it was almost demolished but saved by a bond decree.
The Lecchese Onlus Community Foundation has completed the external restoration and is now working on the interior. This symbol of Lecco industry will soon be returned to the city, relaunching the Workshop as a community space for students and young workers.
Sebino Chiusure supplied various types of doors for this location including REI 60, EI 120 phono 45db, a fixed glass phono 50db, normal and sliding doors.
